March 13, 2024 – John Hartman presenting Light Painting

John Hartman and I go way to the seventies when we were both operation very succesful portrait studios.  John was known back then as a marketing genius.  Today is well recognized for his light painting images.  His approach is unique and takes real talent.

Below is the video to our Photo Chat with John.  You’ll find it very interestig as he walks us through a light painting session.  He also provides a number of resources if you want to get into trying this yourself.  I would also highly recomend taking one of his workshops.  John and I are thinking of doing a photoPXL lightpainting workshop in Indianapolis in the future.  Stay tuned for information on that.
